Comodo Firewall is a free windows firewall. It’s free for non commercial or home use. It monitors all the traffic and informs the user to seek permissions regarding access of net by programs. The Safe zones can be configured. Application can be either permitted or denied access temporarily (for one session) or permanently.
It can automatically approve the access of those programs which are in safe lists. The lists have more than 10,000 programs and are categorized by Comodo team. The program safe list database is updated regularly from the Comodo server.

Default behavior can be modified so that every net access request is passed for the approval of the user. We can also scan the system for applications that are believed to be safe.
There is another feature called “Application Behavior Analysis” which can identify safe applications trying to sneak in or out after being modified by other applications.
It also can gives details of parent as well as child process trying to access net. Comodo
