CRP (Control Running Programs) 2.0.852 Beta 1

CRP (Control Running Programs) 2.0.852 Beta 1
CRP (Control Running Programs) is a solution that will control all running programs within your windows session. In the section ‘Instance Controlling’, you can specify how many instances of a particular program will run at the same time, preventing memory overflow and instant program spawning from other programs.

In the section ’Instance Launching’, specific programs will be launched once they have been closed, either by accident, from the user or the task manager. Drag & Drop support from explorer is also supported and multiple entries allow unlimited amount of programs to be used.

You can set CRP to start with the windows session, maintaining full control without manual loading and spawning instance support will allow you to run several copies of CRP at the same time. A full set of options are available via the ‘Options’ window and direct access to the current tasks list is also available.

Requires: Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0.

What’s New in version 2.0.852 Beta 1:

* You can now directly install programs in the ‘Instance Controlling’, which includes the number of instances open.
* Double clicking an item in the ‘Find Program’ window will now activate the button ‘Finish’
* You can now directly control both engines within CRP from the system tray menu (much better control).
* Re-organized the ‘Edit’ menu so that specific commands have their own sub menu.
* You can now specify how programs are launched (normally, minimized or maximized. You will have to update your lists).
* Added wndProcessStart(), which now handles all program launching (much faster and more efficient).
* The main window is now completely resizable (position is saved, as is the window size).
* Renamed ‘Add program’ menu items to simply ‘Add’ (much cleaner on the menus).
* In the ‘Options’ window, you can now disable system tray support (not recommended).
* In the ‘Options’ window, you can now specify if the position and size of the main window is remembered
* In the ‘Options’ window, you can now specify if the tooltips on the main window are shown.
* In the ‘Options’ window, you can now specify if programs installed (via ‘Install Programs’) are enabled or not.
* You can now specify if the ‘Add’ window is to be used when files are dropped on the ‘Instance Controlling’ list (single files).
* You can now specify if the ‘Add’ window is to be used when files are dropped on the ‘Instance Launching’ list (single files).
* When a new instance of a program is blocked, the most recent instance open will be shown (optional via ‘Options’ window).
* You can now directly access the ‘Options’ via the main window using a new top based link.
* The status bar now uses a similar faded design that is used on the top part of the window.
* The ‘Options’ window has been completely re-designed to have a much smoother inter-face.
* Added ‘All: Enable’ and ‘All: Disable’ to the ‘Edit’ menu, which will quickly enable and disable all list entries.
* Added ‘Lock’ to the ‘Engine’ menu, which will allow you to specify if the lists are locked while the engine(s) is running.
* Added a new section to the main window called ‘History’, that shows all events that have happened within each engine.
* Fixed a massive fault that caused error messages to be shown when closing the program.
