DVD Flick aims to be a tool to convert various PC video formats to a DVD that can be played on pretty much any standalone DVD player. It´s main target audience is people who know at least the basics about DVDs and video/audio files.

DVD Flick is Open Source, meaning that anyone can download and view or modify the program´s source code. It also means that it is absolutely free of charge. Several external programs are used by DVD Flick to do the dirty work like encoding and combining of video material. All of these programs are free, some are Open Source too.

* Added Simple WhiteBlack menu templates.
* Added prevention of the system going into standby or sleep mode while encoding.
* Added DVD write speed selection.
* Updated ImgBurn to 2.4.2.0.
* ImgBurn now ignores that volumes are locked, no longer writes registry keys when starting and waits for the media to be validated (inserted) before starting any burning.
* Updated the The Party menu template; the title select menu did not fit within the title safe area. Background image has been changed too.
* Enabled XP styles.
* A lot of UI polishing and changes throughout because of the XP styles.
* Tetris now works asynchronously to the rest of the program as it should.
* Spelling, grammar and wording fixes in displayed messages.
* AVI audio delay detector should now be able to differentiate between VBR and CBR MP3 audio and detect delay accordingly.
* Subtitles with Unix-style line endings are now supported.
* Fixed serious bug in parsing of file duration.
* Fixed the video bitrate so that the minimum is 2 Mbit/s again.
* Fixed overflow error occuring on projects with very short durations.
* Fixed bug that would cause the “When done…” options to always lead to an error.
* Fixed a bug where multiplexing with MPLEX used to produce a lot larger files (9.5 Gb for a 4.3 Gb DVD).
* Fixed audio track list appearing unresponsive after editing an audio track.
* Fixed bug which caused menu highlight layer never to be seen in the final DVD.
* Fixed dvdflick.exe process staying when DVD Flick had been closed.
* Fixed the Reboot and Shutdown options not working when done encoding.
* Fixed possible bug in menu generation.
* Fixed title chapter settings being set to 1 after loading a project.
* Fixed bug that caused no thumbnails to be generated for some AVI files.
