not very good…..battery life is very short whatever stated by the manufactures and also hotswapping sd cards is crap as u have to take out the battery

I wont say what my actual job is, but the reason its under the battery is because of the user interface its better to switch off the phone when changing the Transflash memory card. LG experienced alot of problems with previous models with easy access to the SD.

i recieved the LG Prada as a gift. sometimes it takes ages for the screen to feel my fingertips. it gets very frustrating. also when i am typing a text message if i want to press the b it just sticks to a and i keep pressing the damn keypad like a maniac. also i top up my account with a card and i cannot do it manually as i cannot access the keypad while im calling. fuck that!

When on a call, if you press the ’speaker’ button on the right-hand side of the phone, a numeric keypad appears…it’s in the manual

I have only had the phone for a couple of days and it does take a lot to get used to. I have experienced quite a lot of frustration with the texting – press the A and get a J instead – the buttons are not sensitive enough. The worst thing is the arrows up, down to get the nest T9 word OMG! How I’ve cursed over that!
Jury is still out for me – definitely not an easy transition but I still like the phone.

lol try pressing the profile button when in a call then ur numbers will come up. its in the manuel, fdoesnt take that long to work out anyway.

You CAN access the keypad while calling!!
Simply press the profile select button on the side of the phone whilst on the call!!

I’ve bought the phone few weeks ago. I was waiting for the iphone but it turned out one big and expensive dissapointment and I’ve desided to go for the Prada.
So far I’m very pleased with it. the only thing I dislike about it is that it catches alot of fingerprints and face grease- not only on it’s display but also all over the back and sides as well, because the phone has such glossy surfaces. I find myself wipeing it every time i finish using it. Putting this small discomfort aside it’s great phone.
I’ve bought it beacuse of the design and not for the features. If you’re going to use your phone to take pictures and record videos I think you should go for the LG Viewty.

I love the new prada!! I got mine a few days ago. It took a while to get used to the way it does t9 txting. Love the great big screen. Love the mp3 player and the music player controller thingee. The battery has been going for 3 days and still not flat. Easy transfer of mp3 and Mp4 files from pc to phone. Ohhh… it’s just so damn cute!

I love my Prada, have it since April last year, just as it came out. Still get frustrated sometimes as screen is really sensitive – hard to type the correct letter. But otherwise it is great. For T9 I suggest to use the buttons on the side of the fone, they do the same as the arrows – move text up or down, change words in T9 and, when not writing text change the sound.
Now I am so used to touch screen that new phone is again with it – I’m getting Samsung F700, should be good, will see.

Great phone. i’ve had it for about a week now. i’m not a big mobile phone user so i was worried about the touchscreen txting. but surprisingly, it’s quite easy! T9 wasn’t a problem at all and the buttons are sized perfectly.
only thing i was disappointed about was the fact that you can’t change your sms ringtone (you can only select from 5 different preset tones and thats it.)

i agree…the camera isnt that gd in dark rooms…i was waiting for the lg viewty to come out but it was taking to long to get realed in malta so i decided to go for the lg prada…its a nice phone nothing irritating about it…it just slows down a little when you have a lot of msgs especially when you skip the 150 msgs…it takes a couple of seconds to open a new msg after that…its a great phone

Amazing machine … i have been using Pocket PC’s and PDA’s most of the time. starting up with its weight, dimensions and size, it comes in handy and portable ( better than most of the phones .
the style feature with a black shine body adds grace to the handset. though the software slows down a bit but on the whole its not a bad package to buy.
generally handles both style and performance with better GUI functions, easy to access menu and touch screen functionality

It only took me 3 days to hate my lg prada. The things that suck about the lg prada is the volume, a not so good cam in the dark, u have to move files to the mcard (coz u cant copy directly 2 the mcard via bt),u cant download simple software like opera mini, and its bluetooth service is the one responsible for me smashing it against the wall.(there are so many other things that make the fone suck)

Hey Kenny,
One option is to use the Prada as a storage device from your PC. You will need a compatible USB cable and make sure the storage card is already on the phone. After that go to my computer, removable drive, and just open it and drag and drop.

You say the battery life is very short, maybe that is a problem with your phone? I have an LG Prada and it will last me about 3 days (i text and ring alot of people regularly) and only takes about one hour to become fully charged. I’ve had phones before that have taken 6 – 8 hours to fully charge, but two weeks ago it died completely i put it on charge for about 1 hour 20 minutes and it lasted me five days on holiday (granted i wasn’t ringing or texting much, but still)

you need a memory card then once you got 1 song it save to your phone but then tap options on it and then file then move it will automatically move to your memory card kind of rubbish keep moving it like that

Press unlock key while in call, then press the profile button on the left side of the phone at the bottom to access any necessary part of the menu. When in sound file menu, select options on a song and add to play list. Also, when you attach phone to pc, two drives are availiable. One appears to act as ext storage, the other for use with phone, drag your music files to there. You can also create sub folders on your pc for music that show up on phone.

to play music/mp3 u must put the music ito the folder named mp3 on the memory card. hope dis helped
