No Install Lan Chat 1.0 has just been released. This is the first release of the software.

No Installation. Just double-click on the file and the chat software will run.

Works through firewalls. When the windows firewall box pops up,just give the software full access. No need to enter a port. If you are using a 3rd party firewall and it asks you for a port,use Port 4567

Send and Receive Files.

Messages are encrypted.

Sound alerts when you get new messages.

Visual alerts when you get new messages.

The software runs on Windows Me/XP/Vista.

The software requires Java 5 or higher to run,but 95% of PC’s already have at the least,java 5 installed.

This lan chat software is exactly what you need if you want to chat with your friends when you are at work,internet cafe,or at school, where you are NOT allowed to install anything. This software requires absolutely no installation.
