Voice recorder in 6300 inbuilt. check from media folder and assign(preferably..for conveniance)..to the right navigation key of your phone. and press the same during the call(in/out)to recorded to its unlimited duration. set from the voice recorder options to save recordings to Memory card.

the 6300 is an s40v3 and there are no s40 viruses. You have the risk of getting a virus only if u are using a Symbian phone, so dont worry you can download any junk you want while using the nokia 6300 NO NEED FOR AN ANTIVIRUS
NB : There are no antivirus for s40 phones
All of you dont be fooled there is NO JAVAME VIRUS for the nokia s40v3 platform (nokia 6300) so you shouldnt be worrying about not having an antivirus,and i dont even think that there is even one s40 antivirus.

Mi ansari i have d same problem as u. My nokia 6300 tells me 70 sets allowed settings discarded. Pls let me know if u’v found a solution cos i realy need it. The wil also not format using *#7370#. Pls help me someone.
Hey. I’m a proud (or not so) owner of the 6300, but recently I’ve had this one recurring problem. With the memory card inside the phone simply refuses to come on. Without the card it comes on but lacks functionality– that is, it says that either the messages are not ready, or simply hangs when I try to access my contacts. Similarly, “applications” won’t open, and neither will “gallery”. I can’t make a call or save a contact.
I’ve tried restoring it the normal way (through the menu), as well as by using the *#7780# code– only resulting in an unsuccessful restoration.
It also randomly keeps restarting– and sometimes hangs on a blank screen with only a battery symbol (after the hands shake when you switch it on).
Thus, I assume my phone has a virus sitting on it. Now, how the hell do I get it off?!
