Works GREAT!
Testing SP1 release candidate broke it, however. It wasn’t anything I didn’t expect but I wanted to see for sure. I suspect that once SP1 is released, it too will break it.
Uninstalling SP1 allowed the crack to be reinstalled without any issues.

I have a problem. Hope for you to try and help me solve it. I usually use Win XP plus office 2007. My home PC broke and I got a new laptop with installed Win XP and office 2007. OK / no problem. Have the needed CD.
Problem is that the original DVD with all the drivers is only applicable to a few versions of W/Vista. I chose Home Premium and ran installation of drivers / works perfectly. Vista DVD had some key, of course, but it started to countdown. SInce it is a laptop computer (not much experienced in crashing them, especially if they are new) I need help in “how to kill” this countdown.
When I (e.g.) install these cracks, do I have to be offline or online?
Or do I reboot after installation and then go activate (logically, cannot activate offline).
THe matter is / I don’t care that much for updates, but the thing about drivers, since they’re compatible with Vista only.
Re-install all?

Don’t know about the Compaq machines, but it worked like a charm on my HP, using Ultimate from the DVD that came with the laptop. I’ve been able to get all updates, including SP1, with no problems at all.

it depends on what you do with computer and if your computer can handle vista or not, xp works great and so does vista I think vista is better because of security and it looks great.
