The Vista compatible Zone Alarm will NOT install in Vista. Issues with the True Vector driver which is blocked. OH HOW I HATE VISTA THE WORST PIECE OF CRAP EVER ENGINEERED.

just for the record, I have vista and installed ZA, it is working just fine….
It can’t be possible, Zone Alarm with Vista doesn’t work, it bloks the computer-up !.
No matter what Zone Alarm I try, it simply doesn’t work with Vista.
how the hell did u get za pro on ur vista machine. it block the driver when i try to install it.
and tips or suggestion would be nice

With the beauty of vista… microsoft is blinding the users so they won’t notice the shift onto a more controllable platform… after all the NSA/CIA were highly participated during the development of vista… Just imagin if everybody would switch to linux where you can control you own os kernel or at least get it from someone that you really trust…

To all those dudes out there cursing Vista and Islam…… I feel pity for your level of intelligence, religious and technical knowledge. True that MS is trying to monopolizing it’s software in the market but it far from being a complete software. Many service packs will be released just like XP until it becomes a really stable OS. Overall It has great features which other OS are not able to provide. Besides it is the most targeted OS among viruses so it makes sense not to keep is as liberal as open source. It works great if it finds all the compatible components otherwise one has to wait until next service pack is released. If you are really pissed off with Vista you would have long ago switched to other OS but I bet you can’t because MS still provides simplicity in it’s OS to use and learn as compared to other OS, not to mention the huge compatibility it has with tones of application.
Instead of stealing the firewall for free better pay to those who have worked hard to develop Zonealarm application. It is a great peace of software so better support them by using genuine copy.
And far as Islam is concerned. You are acting like a toad of a well which is surrounded by Zionists and it’s media. i got zone alarm got to work with vista and it all fine just installed it and that it no trouble installing if you want zonealarm for vista then go to this site

when your on the website click on free version than it tells you to save or run then just download it with out no trouble
Vista is a nice setup, have enjoyed playing with it over the past few months since buying it (came with my Asus G1s and yes i complained like mad and wanted xp pro but was told no can do *insert angry face here*) that being said it hasnt been as bad as i predicted.
the major problem came when trying to get Zone Alarm to work with my internet which is run through a router. it was fine when connected via cable, however when connected via the wireless ZA conspired with Vista to shut off the internet both while ZA was enabled and disabled. no matter what settings i tried to change the result was the same “local access only” so in the end the answer was that ZA had to go. after removing ZA from the system the desired result was instant, i got my internet access back.
therefore having used ZA for years on XP and have thought it a fantastic program (still believe it) i believe there may still be some issues with the vista version of ZA and vista which still needs to be resolved.
have had ZA on my laptop for 5 months works well in the background no grinding to a halt when working like a certain system that comes in a yellow box. works as well on vista as it did on xp

Vista is good for new laptops, such as, if it comes with a new laptop/computer.
A lot of people don’t/won’t use it because it is incompatible with a lot of their hardware, I know a few people who’s entire Motherboards were incompatible with Vista I belive.
Also some programms are, Diablo 2 (Game)has some problems, and McAfee 2007 corrupted my entire Vista laptop when I tried to install it!
But the features are good, it looks nice, and if you have enough RAM runs smoothly (2GB here).
ZA released a version for Vista, but most of their stuff is still incompatible with it, so make sure you research before screwing up your system.

Vista is well written. Just like XP it needs time for fixes and updates. As far as Islamists go… you really need to think about the fact its part of their religeon to hate and destroy the western world. They believe their god wants them to die fighting America. This is admitted not an assumption. You cant blame people for hateing what wants them destroyed.

All those blasting Islam have probably spent their last few years watching CNN and riots in middle east. May I remind you that CNN are out for the most interesting and well crafted stories. As for Vista. I agree with you guys that Vista “…is a piece of engineering ……..”. I know that lots of companies don’t provide helpdesk for vista.
The OS just has a lot of bugs, and was designed for the big boys with 1Gb RAM.

now after you finish your everlsting discussion about religion and stuff, back to the MAIN problem which is Zone alarm on vista, personaly i like vista it’s not bad, and YES zonealarm will start installing files after 20 minutes and in the middle of the process will stop to tell yoy that truevector wont work fine.

OMG I HATE VISTA MICRO$$$OFT AND THEIR SHITHOUSE XBOX SUCKS ASS, IF YOU WANT ZONE ALARM USE XP!! Other than that (if you use a normal OS, XP)it is a great program.
